In June of 2024, Elliott disclosed an approximately $1.9 billion investment in Southwest Airlines.

So at the time, that was approximately 11% of overall economic interest in the company.

I joined Southwest in November of 2025.

So I wanna say, I like to give credit where credit is due because the most intense phase is the months following an actual activist position.

And so a lot of the really hard work was navigated by my predecessors here within the Southwest team.

And finally, the final clips I'm going to share from this briefing event, we're going to discuss how recent changes among proxy advisors, who you will know are increasingly moving away from bespoke voting policies towards broader packs of recommendations for their clients, and how that is transforming the engagement landscape as a whole.

Does it compromise the competitive spirit of the sport? What do you think, DC?

You know, I think it, it's not black and white.

Um, the, the way I look at it, especially after being immersed into this world for the last 10 years and, and having a pretty good understanding of the digital age that we are living in with media, um, I think there are some really genuine friendships on tour, which is so lovely to see.

And I think it's so necessary for players to have people that they can relate to, people that they can talk to about what they're experiencing, because you're in such a unique world being a professional athlete and tennis player, and being in an individual sport, not having teammates, not having people that you can trust and confide in on a day-to-day basis.

Um, it really is you out there every single day.

And even if you have your parents, family, uh, coaches, an agent, when you get out there and you're competing and you're dealing with all of your pressures and trying to reach goals, it can be so lonely and isolating.

So I will say I think tennis players can understand each other at a level that other people cannot, because you're, you're dealing with people who have been in your shoes.
