How can we be close to him, even though we can't see him, actually?

Well, yeah, that's also a very good question.

And again, the Bible has an answer for that, too.

So we can read in Hebrews 1, 1 and 2, the following words.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets... has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

But we see there that in the past, God has spoken through the prophets, and we have the Bible, we have the record of all of those dealings.

So God speaks to us through the Bible, but he also speaks to us through Jesus.

So what attracts you to eternal things, to heaven, to paradise?
