Well, Daniel, I wonder if you could first just share with us why poetry? Why did you start writing poetry? Why did you start reading poetry? Why do you still do it?

Well, I was lucky enough to be raised by parents who filled that big farmhouse that Darren talked about full of books.

And I said that if you ever told my mother you were bored when you were a child, she gave you either a broom or a book.

So I usually preferred the book.

And...

I love the magic of words.

I love the feeling that words brought to me.
