You know, there's a couple of members that I've spoken to who are builders and they used to turn over a project.

It might be a three-year cycle from purchasing the site, getting the DA, putting the block of apartments up and then selling it.

And now they've got to do a five-year cycle because of the permitting and the delays.

And because of that, they can't carry any debt on the land because it's too expensive.
