So we did not have routine duplex ultrasonography of the lower extremities, nor did anybody who was asymptomatic receive any kind of scan or pulmonary angiogram.

So this is all based on symptomatology of our patients during the postoperative period.

And I think any busy surgeon has encountered patients that have had thromboembolisms or DVTs, so we were certainly attuned to the symptomatology, clinical diagnosis of a DVT.

So again, limited data collection afterwards, but we did not find any increased risk in this cohort of the patients that were receiving TXA.

We did not weigh lab sponges, nor did we measure the vacuum blood collection at, at the operation.

But this was just our best gestalt of the amount of bleeding.
