So, um, what, like, what set apart, like, Jesuit life from other, like, um, priestly orders, like, from, like, being a diocesan or, like, a Dominican or Franciscan? Like, what set, like, being a Jesuit apart from that?

Oh, that, that's a really, another good question here, uh, Leo.

So, uh, I mean, I'll, maybe I'll talk about my attraction first to Jesuit life, and then, uh, kinda get to where I think, uh, it, it sits in the, kind of the, kinda the treasury of what we would call charisms within the church, right? You know, the, the, the major founders and foundresses of the religious orders, they kinda left a gift to each of the orders, right? Trying to capture the way of life.

Whatever they thought the Lord was inviting, not just them, but people after them to follow, to follow.

Uh, but for me, like, in terms of my attraction to Jesuit life, uh, I was just like you.

I met the Jesuits in, in high school.

Um, and I found them to be pretty joyous individuals, such that, you know, when I would talk to my par- parents, uh, wonderful people.
