But beyond this very literal example, like deprogramming fascists with architecture, pretty literal anti-fascist architecture, what to you is anti-fascist architecture? And what kind of building is an anti-fascist building?
13:54
Yeah, so to that point, I'll just talk about some of the main figures that we highlight in the book.
14:02
So the first person we talk about in part two, which is the survey, is a Cuban revolutionary architect named Pastorita Nunez Gonzalez.
14:11
Pastorita grew up in destitute poverty on a farm, and very early on she joined the Cuban revolutionary cause.
14:20
She went on to fight in the mountains alongside Fidel and Shea.
14:26
Her code name was Augustina, so she was a commando in the Cuban rebel army.
14:31
Not only a commando, but also raising taxes and money to support the revolution.

What were some moments when you were going through your undergrad education in architecture and your graduate studies But being a political person, having the political beliefs that you have now, or the predecessors to those beliefs, were there particular experiences that I find where you felt things were not clicking, you started noticing the problems early on? I'd like to hear from each of you, how the genesis of this came through this year and earlier studies.
