And I was just like, "I need to just stop-"

And I was still walking, and the wild thing about this subway, uh, this subway exit is you exit with the towers to your back, right? And I remember consciously making the decision, "Don't turn around.

Keep moving, keep moving forward, and assess and then go." And right as I was doing that, a f- one of the firetrucks, one of the local, um, fire, uh, engines, they were, they were just opening up.

Doors were just opening up, because there were no sirens at first and then the sirens were everywhere.

And I just remember on my right as I was heading east, the, this firetruck racing past me toward the Trade Center, and just, I remember looking over and just seeing the f- the firemen with their mustaches and stuff like that, and being like, "Okay, something's really wrong." So I remember saying a prayer.
