So what was your takeaway, man? I thought it was a great day, very inspiring, very encouraging.
1:45
Yeah, it was such a great message and so many different takeaways.
1:49
I think what stuck with me the most, what you asked this question, you said, the question is not, am I being led? It's what is leading me? We're all being led by something.
2:01
What is leading you? And that's such a deep question because it's true.
2:06
We're all being led by something.
2:08
Am I letting my emotions lead me? Am I letting my trauma lead me? Or am I actually letting Christ lead me? And you made the statement, you said, it's sheep that lead themselves hurt themselves.
2:19
And I started reflecting on my own life and seasons that I felt...

Give us a couple of those things that stood out to
10:50
And so
10:51
does that make sense? Yeah, it does.
10:52
And I think that is a very important distinction you made between abolishing the law and fulfilling the law.
10:56
I think this is going to be a great conversation.
10:57
I know a burden that I've had in recent years is – understanding not just what i believe but why i believe it and i know i've had conversations with like my parents before or other family members and ask them like hey why do you believe that well that's just what i've been taught that's just what i've heard well where is that in scripture and i think today's conversation is going to speak to that it's going to challenge the listeners it's going to challenge me and i hope that you know i think this is an important conversation yeah

Hey everyone, my name is Pastor Daniel.
0:01
I'm the youth pastor here at Relevant Church, and today's message was simple.
0:04
I challenge you to just do it.
0:06
We read in James 1.22 where it says, don't just be hearers of the word, but be doers.
0:11
If you want to be a follower of Jesus, you have to move.

I brought home what I thought was an orphaned wolf pup in 1987.
0:05
My wife helped me bottle feed it.
0:07
My kids played with it in the backyard.
0:10
For three years, we raised it like a family pet, but it wasn't a wolf.
0:15
And the night I discovered what it really was, everything I thought I knew about reality shattered into pieces.
0:22
What happened in my kitchen that September evening still makes my hands shake when I think about it.
4:25
What are we doing for beach camp?
4:26
Yep, so we meet in Panama City Beach, Florida at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat, and it's our church along with four or five other churches gathered together for one incredible week, and it is life-changing, man, and not just for our students.
4:39
Dude, I was telling our volunteers this yesterday that we build this camp for our students, but our volunteers walk away with changed lives, too.
4:46
I'll never forget two years ago, our second night, and the Holy Spirit was just moving, and we had an extended worship time at the end that we didn't plan.
4:54
It just happened spontaneously.
4:56
And one of our volunteers came up to me at the end and just bawling their eyes out and said, I'm never missing this again.
5:02
And it's the first time they were there and they haven't missed.
