i heard i heard you talking on a kind of a zoom call it's up on youtube at the at the moment but when you're preparing for a shooter going out what would be the the kind of basics that you have to look out for i heard you saying that you might be going to an animal that mightn't be so familiar with humans so maybe you don't want to go too close and scare him away what would be the i suppose the basics when you're heading out on a shoot that you would kind of look for and that'd be the the kind of essential things to do
11:47
But the main thing that I always tell people is learn about what you're trying to photograph.
11:51
A lot of animals and birds, they have different behaviours at different times of the day.
11:55
So if I'm going out to try and photograph a cuckoo, which their numbers were massively depleted in Ireland, part of that is down to several reasons.
12:06
One of the main ones is agriculture.
12:08
So When you have, say, bog land that has been cleared and now it's just flat fields, the main two bird species that a cuckoo will look for their nest to lay their eggs in are the meadow pipit and the skylark, which rely on wild grass.
12:24
So when you have farmland that is basically kind of pristine grazing grass, then you don't have those two birds.

Is there any other animals that you've seen underwater that I suppose they kind of blew you away?
