Wow, Dylan, thanks for the invitation.

I love bragging on our very good God, because He is so gracious and such a good father.

Uh, some of my story really begins in my, in my childhood.

Um, my father died when I was 11, and the next year my mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, uh, and my brother went off to college.

And so really at the age of 12, I, I was just kind of thrust into a different kind of world.

I went from really stereotypical kind of s- suburban family of four, um, you know, Christmas and Easter kind of knowledge of who Jesus is into, uh, helping take care of my home and helping take, uh, just responsibility for, uh, all the things that were going on there.

Wow.

Why do you think that an industry that is marked by doing good, by being good, by promoting good is also so marred with kind of character deficiency?

Hmm.

You know, uh, I've got a lot of theological answers to that, James.

Um, and, and I think those are all true, and I think they're all good.

Uh, but I wanna actually start by, by really giving a parable, [laughs] okay? Uh, and I think it'll reveal some of the answer here.

I want you to imagine for a moment that you are standing next to a building, and you see that building.

It's an apartment building.
