What is the intention? What is the purpose of putting this out into the world? I
9:46
would assume that the intentions of Natives recording this in any manner in any media would be initially for preservation purposes, keep our songs recorded so that next in the future as time goes on and more technology becomes more evident in tribal lives or indigenous people's lives, not necessarily in the United States, but in South America or in Asia, to where now we have the capabilities to record a lot of our cultural ways that were at one time, it was taboo to record or through song, sound, or now video, and now to make it extremely accessible in the moment going live.

It's good and bad at the same time.
10:42
We're taught not to share this, but at the same time, like I said, for preservation, we record these songs.
10:52
At the same time, we're expanding what we know and incorporating the music now that goes hand-in-hand with the technology.
11:02
We're able to make something extremely fusion sense of music, something that's new, that still echoes our traditional songs or traditional, For us, our voices are an instrument, so for our natural instruments to evolve into something amazing, something new, there's no category for it yet to me.
11:31
It's great to be a part of the process of preservation as well as the imaginative senses of music.
