Stefano PattiHOST
Having been to the festival so many times, what is your personal connection to it, and how will your perspective as a composer shape your approach to evaluating this year's films?

Daniel BlumbergGUEST
Yeah, I feel like I've got a strong personal connection to Venice Film Festival.

Daniel BlumbergGUEST
Starting when I was 17 and getting into film and I'd go to the DVD shop and if it had the Venice logo on it, I think it was maybe worth checking out.

Daniel BlumbergGUEST
and then being blown away by that film and then yeah later when i started scoring films actually all of the films that i've worked on have ended up having their premiere at the festival so the first one was peter strickland a short film we did together called guo And then two of Mona Fassfeld's films, The World to Come and The Testament of Anne Lee.

Daniel BlumbergGUEST
I remember having really late nights working on that with him and sort of imagining it being shown finally in the cinema at Venice.
