So then may I ask, what do you see as one of the most important latest evidences in this field on coronary revascularization in patients undergoing TAVI?
0:49
Yeah.
0:49
Well, Ole, as you said, you know, we know about 50% of patients undergoing TAVI have significant coronary artery disease, so it's a question we've been looking for answers for since we started doing this procedure really.
0:59
Um, and what we've seen recently is the PROTAVI Trial, uh, which as you know, uh, randomized patients of 466 patients to have either PCI prior to TAVI or PCI deferred, uh, and undertaken only afterwards if clinically indicated.
1:14
And this gave us some, some pretty nice answers really.
1:17
The primary endpoint, I think importantly excluded revascularization and looked at the hard real clinical endpoints, death-
3:42
Yeah, yeah.
3:42
Um, but, you know, it's fair to say that in NOTION-3 it wasn't just urgent revascularization.
