How do I change a belief that doesn't serve me?

Oh, it's the juiciest, most important question, really, right? And so we can talk about beliefs, and I'm with you on that.

They are absolutely essential and underlying everything that we experience in life.

And for me, there's a higher level way of looking at it, which is actually what creates our beliefs.

And I refer to that as being.

Who we are being...

You could say identity, right? Or if you wanna go new age, you could say vibration.

So tell me about being a pacifist and where that might, where that might lead for the world.

But what I think what the movie does with it is extremely it's an extremely interesting experiment in psychological horror.

Absolutely.

And and I was struck by when I think Cain Parsons was interviewed by someone and he ended up saying something like he's strongly against A.I. And I personally think that, you know, there's a lot of images in the movie that that are sort of commenting on AI.

You know, you have like when you first had those generative or AI apps like Dolly, where, you know, you're making faces with too many eyes or features in the wrong places.

The movie, it's hard to not think of that stuff when you see like the beings that they eventually encounter in the back rooms.

And I personally felt that there was some commentary.

You know, Clark is this really, as you said, this unlikable guy with alcohol problems and he can't take responsibility for his actions and his divorce.

uh in in the movies and i'm kind of i have to i tend to agree with them

But I feel like that's not really what this movie is about, which is why I think it's quite, quite effective.

Yeah.

It's, uh, I mean, I, I tend to love things where it's, you know, a pretty simple premise or, or you take, like, you know, a not, uh, terribly different version of a trope and you just do a really excellent version of it, you know? And, and with horror, there's kind of always room to, to do, I don't know, better acting or, or funnier dialogue and such.

Like, even, like, classic horror movies, like, you know, they kind of left a lot of room to just kind of always do new, I don't know.

That's why I guess there's always reboots of things.

You can always do, like, a funnier, uh, Halloween or something, you know?

And that really, that, that's, that's basically the premise of the movie.
