Yeah, thank you for asking.

I did not know that I was gay, queer, until I was 23.

I grew up in a Roman Catholic household, so CCD every Saturday, church every Sunday, kind of against my will, but, you know, had to do what my parents wanted.

And you hear all of that messaging that you hear in church that, you know, gay people are bad and they're going to go to hell and that it's a sin.

And I think my younger self was, well, you know, I'm I'm good, so I can't possibly be gay.

And that's kind of how I lived my life until my early 20s.
