Yeah, we just started doing, I've been struggling mentally on court, like before this tournament, just my thoughts just taking a hold of me.

Dane SweenyGUEST
And my girlfriend, she's had a couple of tea ceremony experiences where you just sit really slowly and have a lot of intent and pour tea very slowly and just taking, you know, being very mindful of all the movements and sitting with your breath and just having... just that sort of ritual.

Dane SweenyGUEST
And it's just a very good practice to do, especially at the start of the day in a city like this where it's so hectic, just to have that peace and quiet, that time to check in with myself, to sit with myself, you know, before checking the phone or anything like that, before the day gets busy.

I just have one last question to finish, and I'm sorry, it is kind of a big one, but what do you think has been the biggest lesson that tennis has taught you?

How was it changing the form, you know, after the disappointment there, making it to semis, how far can you make it here at Wimbledon?

Dane SweenyGUEST
I feel like I've had some good glimpses of tennis, but then, you know, I s- I was able to string it together in Ilkley, beat some really quality opponents on grass and, um, just felt more and more comfortable on the grass at every match.

Dane SweenyGUEST
So that, and that was a goal, trying to get some matches before leading into Wimby, but it's not that easy when you're playing really strong challengers.

Dane SweenyGUEST
So I was happy to get some matches there and I was feeling really good about my tennis and, and yeah, feeling, feeling I can go, uh, really far here if I just, uh, keep putting my best foot forward.

What is it that you mo- that you most like about grass? H- how did, how does it complement your, your play style? Is there anything that it takes away? What's your relationship?
