Describe a little bit about how Community Bridges assists the law enforcement community in our state.

Yeah, so for a really long time, and even still, law enforcement in particular is kind of the default for behavioral health issues happening in the communities.

I think part of it goes back to the stigma that because someone has mental illness, then they're probably dangerous, right? And so that's typically not the case, though.

It is in some circumstances, but police generally are not equipped.

They're equipped for law enforcement functions, and social work is not a law enforcement function.

So police will go out into these communities.

They'll engage with these folks.

How does that play out in our behavioral health system when you look to its implementation?
