And note any obvious wear and tear.

Here's a good example of corrosion on the door handle.

The kind of thing you could stop from getting worse.

Sand that up, give it a paint if you want to, just to give it another couple of years.

But actually, Dan's noticed these issues across a wide range of homes, including new builds.

I do see in a lot of apartments where the hardware could be on the cheaper side and it fails a lot quicker.

The shower fittings, tap fittings, they just get in that leak pretty quick.

There is a teeny, teeny, tiny little

plant in there.

There's a leaf there.

I'll probably leave that for now.

It's not going to cause any damage.
