Explain what's going on.

Yeah, free speech week happens annually this time of year.

It was started years and decades ago.

And the left has tried to take it over.

And so here at the Media Research Center, we're taking it back.

Because when the left talks about so-called free speech, what they really mean is how do we silence people? How do we keep them from saying things that we don't want to hear? Of course, our First Amendment was created so that we have a right, and the government cannot take away that right, for us to be able to express our point of view even when it disagrees with the government's policies.

So this year's winner, we've got one standout champion, and then we recognize 13 additional people.

I think that's the most abused part of the First Amendment.
