When AEP comes.
12:48
Oh my gosh.
12:50
You got multiple things there on the hospital indemnity side.
12:53
You got people that have a book of business that are losing that book of business because it's the only piece of business that they have in that house.
13:02
So clients are canceling.
13:06
Now all of a sudden it's a proven fact that when you have two products in the house, that person's gonna stay on the books longer.
13:12
So you got your book of business.

31:58
And
0:10
Talk to me, what's going on?
0:13
Well, I mean, I think it's a super exciting time in the thrombectomy space and specifically around pulmonary embolism where we're focused, but also VTE or venous thromboembolism with mechanical thrombectomy in general.
0:29
This is a space where the momentum has been building since about 2019 when Inari really started to kick off a lot of the demonstration that using a catheter to remove a clot in the pulmonary arteries, raising awareness that this is the third leading cause of cardiovascular death, and really demonstrating to the community, first a small group of community and then a larger group, and then Penumbra joining in, that this was a really great therapy for patients.
1:00
Physicians caught on, hospitals understood that it was helping alleviate the stress in the intensive care unit.
1:09
And just in general, this momentum of the market improving that this market not only was a real one, but that had legs, right, and is going to continue to grow over time.
1:21
We've also seen the readout of some large clinical trials that both in Nari and Panama ran, randomized clinical trials that are helping the guidelines change and helping us see broader adoption and capture some of those physicians that have on the sidelines waiting for randomized data, which is perfectly legitimate, right? You know, if you're a more conservative physician, you want to see that kind of evidence before you take up the technology.
1:45
So as those, you know, that kind of dynamic happened, ultimately, Striker ended up buying Inari.

38:51
One question we do get asked a lot is, is first time CEOs or that have obviously been CEOs and exited a business or left, You know, when they're on that sort of debating scale of, do I look at chair seats? You know, what did you gain from it that made you ultimately want to, you know, proactively look for more chair seats and be more active with other companies?
10:01
But you're past denial.
10:02
I'm, I'm past denial.
10:03
I think I'm, I'm in shock somewhere, bordering on, on anger, but it, it's, it's tough.
10:08
And I mean, I say that with maybe some slight, um, some slight candor.
10:13
But, uh, I, I truly do think this is a, an immensely, uh, unfortunate period of time for, for Edmontonians and for the city.
10:20
I, it's hard for me to imagine Edmonton without the High Level Bridge.
10:24
I know a lot of people have said that, but, you know, when you close your eyes and in the, the postcard of your mind, like, what does Edmonton look like? It's, you know, it's that sunset on the High Level Bridge.
