That's right.

The story was that the EPA was proposing to eliminate basically a federal rules that would require participation in minor source air permits is what it's called.

But what it basically boiled down to is to whether, you know, there's any kind of public notification about things like data centres that are going to be causing pollution and, you know, whether there's any feedback on that, you know, whether there's a proposed... whether the public gets any say on it.

So at the moment, this thing exists as part of the Clean Air Act, I believe, but they want to undo that and basically it'll go back to state level.

So it'll be up to the local authorities as to whether they actually bother to do that when there's a new data center or something being built.

that? Really, Tom Spencer, Dave Roar are the pinnacle behind this, really.

We just come and say, right, Dave, Tom, what do you want us to do? We do it.

But they've actually put it all together, yeah.

So we've had a whole array, haven't we? Months and months of organising.

You can't just do it over a week on a bit of scrap paper.

It's a big thing.

But, yeah, so they've entered into this agreement, which is due to close next year, providing that they meet all the regulatory requirements, of course, and there's no objections from the authorities on that.

It looks like NVIDIA has agreed basically to kind of keep a pretty hands-off approach and allow Hugging Face to pretty much just do what they're already doing.

But as we've been seeing, there are quite a few concerns around that.

with uh nvidia is a very powerful company in the ai market of course and um uh hugging face is the kind of go-to place for uh for open uh open models

What is the likelihood you think that NVIDIA honors its commitment to remain hands

Um, a- and, you know, that's feeding through into various, uh, things as well.

Um, and, you know, as we know, the memory, the memory situation is, uh, is due to AI because, not so much because it's eating up all the memory, uh, but because the chip makers have a certain amount of capacity.

... to make that.

Um, and, and so there just isn't enough capacity left over to supply w- the, the PC makers.
