Mm-hmm.

So Hannah Kenney and Kamden Tran, for whatever reason, they were the ones under the ball to attack it over the net, and, uh, clearly that's not what you're trying to do.

We were a mess.

And then we had two balls that we set on a system that we were trying to set a hitter, and they were unhittable.

They were set over the net or they were errors.

So there's your four points.

So that was kind of the talk at that 15 in that first set was just, I mean, here's these four points.

And Coach, I'm gonna, uh, take the long way to get there, but I [chuckles] I thought last week, you and I have talked about multiple times that you wanted to get the middles kind of more in- in- involved, and I thought this was the week that not just one, but even a couple of your middles really played it at a high level for you.

[laughs]

And you know, I tell the girls, and it's not false modesty or anything like that, but it's like I want to be the most improved head coach in the country every year.

And so this year is no change to that.

So again, that's why, you know, the losses that we've hung are such learning experiences for us as far as, okay, how can we, you know, uh, tweak our offense? How can we improve our defense? How can we create a system that can be successful throughout the entire year and be the best version of us that we can be? And then within that, you know, how can I improve my leadership style? How can I empower more players on our team to be great leaders and great followers? Um, so I'm constantly learning.

I mean, we have talked about this before, but I just don't see any way that I would do anything else with my life.

Like, I can't...

I couldn't fathom retirement ever because I'm just like, man, there's just too much, there's too much to learn and too much fun to be had doing this, um, regardless of the results.
