So sort of walk us through that, how that's informed, where you've landed today at UnitedHealth Group.

Dan KueterGUEST
So yeah, well, if I really rewind the clock all the way back, my career in healthcare started as a sales rep for Ethicon Endosurgery, which is a Johnson & Johnson company, and I was Really fortunate to land that first job coming out of the Army, right, as part of my background, West Point graduate.

Dan KueterGUEST
Got a lot more from it than I gave to it, quite honestly, in terms of that part of my life.

Dan KueterGUEST
And fortunate enough to encounter Johnson & Johnson and Ethicon Endosurgery, which has just a tremendous early career development program and really pays attention to folks coming out of the military and was delighted to have that experience.

We've touched on this a little bit, but I want to ask kind of more specifically, as you're thinking about, again, addressing some of these challenges in the market, what role do you really see AI playing and where are you seeing opportunity there?
D
14:34Dan KueterGUEST
AI, just as it's permeating kind of all aspects of our lives in so many ways, we're starting to see that across the board in healthcare as well.
D
14:44Dan KueterGUEST
It's already doing a lot in the back office of healthcare, in the back office of providers, in the back office of healthcare.
D
14:53Dan KueterGUEST
of brokers in the back office of employer HR shops and certainly in our back office as well.
D
15:00Dan KueterGUEST
It's helping our customer advocates, our consumer advocates be much more quick, much more transparent, much more comprehensive in the answers to questions as the AI listens along to the questions of the consumer and prompts our advocates with likely answers or exact answers or what have you.
D
15:23Dan KueterGUEST
It has removed much of the interpretation and the go find the answer time that an advocate previously invested as it's really serving up detailed answers that take into account all the information about a specific consumer that we know to help our advocates best answer those questions.

What do you think the future of the employer market looks like? And maybe in an ideal scenario, what do you hope it looks like?
