I had that experience before starting the job.

to be honest.

I had a peer mentor over in Canada, Brad Jacobson, who worked for BCPA.

He's no longer with us, but it was my interactions through him that really sort of made me go, huh, you know, like it's not all doom and gloom.

And by learning from him and doing a couple of talks at the unit after I discharged over in Canada, um is what gave me the the thirst to want to do it here a little bit um i did fall into the role through the neuron like going to neuro moves and talking sideways conversations with clients um about the different um i guess things that i've been able to ex the things that i've been able to experience at walk-on at that stage with clients.

And that was one of the big things for me that sort of changed my trajectory.
