Okay.

And my dad ended up getting a call, as we refer to it in our Lutheran Synod, a divine call to be an emergency teacher at Martin Luther College.

Back then it was called Dr. Martin Luther College, which is a pastor and teacher preparatory school in New Ulm.

And so he ended up being a professor there for over 35 years, uh, directing band, choir, all kinds of stuff, dri- uh, instructing the students in choral conducting, you name it.

And so yeah, I...

Born and raised there along with my five siblings.

I'm the fourth out of the six of us.

Did any of your siblings take up music as a profession?
