You know, we don't have Ty here this morning, so I'm going to talk for Ty for just a little bit.
Dan HawkinsSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
You know, I've worked with Ty in the statehouse for eight years now.
Dan HawkinsSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
And Ty and I, because of what you did, were able to deliver because of the people that you sent.

And if you look at, for example, how much waste there was under Laura Kelly in some of these other offices, if someone's not mined in the store, there's a lot of opportunity for waste in insurance.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
I guarantee you there's uh, fraud and ever, uh, ever piece of, of insurance there is out there somewhere, you know, workman's comp comes to mind really fast.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
The amount of fraud that's in workman's comp and, and certainly, um, you know, other areas of insurance, there's, there's some fraud, you know, we, uh, we, this year we made a new law that gave the insurance commissioner's office, uh, the ability to actually prosecute fraud before, uh, this year.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
It always had to go through the Attorney General's office, and they'll only take the biggest of the big fraud cases.

And, and it's one of, I guess one of my biggest arguments, uh, with our current, uh, insurance commissioner and many of the ones before them, before our last insurance commissioner, is, um, they didn't go out and try to bring business in.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
They didn't look at rules and regulations and see why business, uh, you know, insurance companies did not want to come.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
One of their biggest gripes, the insurance companies gripes is, is that we're hard to do business with.
Dan HawkinsGUEST
Well, if we're hard to do business with, why? And i- and if we are, then we need to fix that.
