So I transitioned from being a professor, a teaching professor of music history and theory, to working in a teaching center almost 10 years ago now.

And when I came to the teaching center, it was an overwhelming amount of material and stuff to engage with, which was really fun.

I really enjoy reading, and especially reading books.

And I was really drawn to critical pedagogy, which is something that I had engaged with lightly in the past, but mostly in the context of music history teaching.
