Uh, I don't th- I don't think so.
26:42
Okay.
26:43
So when it comes to, uh, boys as they're in their puberty stage and they've not quite made it to their, their fully grown, fully grown self yet, the, the thing that happens is your bones grow at a rate that outpaces your muscles, and the idea of growing pains happens because your bones grow faster than your muscles, and they pull the muscles and keep them on stretch.
27:08
And so that, that pain that a lot of boys primarily because they can go through, like, bigger growth spurts, but the idea of growing pains is your bones outpacing your muscles and feeling that tightness.
27:21
And so in a lot of those boys, chances are their full flexibility will not be able to be unlocked until they have stopped growing and their muscles can catch up, and then that's when they can start to have more success going through the stretches and doing those things because finally their muscles are the appropriate size for their bones.
27:37
That being said, doing hamstring mobilizations and doing hamstring stretches and, and hamstring exercises can only help, but if they find themselves hitting themselves up against a wall despite working on it, that can be what's going on.
27:49
And when it comes to your husband, uh, a lot of times that truly is, like, a just a lack of stretching type of presentation.

And I was with her at the doctor the other day, and I asked the doctor, I was like, "How it..." You know, 'cause they said arthritis is genetic and you can't really do much about it, and I'm like, "Is there something proactive that we can do to prevent arthritis?" 'Cause it's just like she's totally healthy, but, like, she's got a few things in her hand now and then this and that, and I'm like, how do you prevent it if there's a way to prevent it? Or does it just happen, and you have to deal with it?
16:01
So how do you modify the care you give for the midlife woman, knowing that this is happening? And then I wanna talk about frozen shoulder.
16:10
Okay.
16:11
Well, if they were a former dancer, a lot of the education becomes showing them and teaching them how to slow down a little bit because we talked about the response and the inclination to when you get hurt to rest.
16:25
In a lot of these dancers, the inclination is exactly the opposite.
16:28
First of all, they've had the fear of God drilled into them that they can never be hurt, because if they're hurt, then their, their track gets taken, and everything is-- their life will never be the same.
16:36
And so they're so used to hiding these injuries and pushing through these injuries that when they feel an injury, they wanna push forward, and they wanna move forward, and they wanna just get through it.
16:47
And when you do become a little older, and again, you've lost that estrogen, you don't have the healing power that you used to, and those structures are changing, the conversation now becomes, maybe you do need a little bit of rest.
