so now a lot of optimism before today obviously there is a whole lot of red on the screen today equities energies grains softs everything went red today no big deal it's one day turn around tuesday i think a lot of the stuff was green yesterday so hopefully we get a bounce coming into tomorrow we have a very very extremely wide positive basis futures to cash in the fat cattle world right now.

So that's a little bit concerning.

I mean, obviously good for the producer, good for the hedger.

As we witnessed though, last week, cash took all the way until late Friday to develop at higher money, two to three hires.

So pretty pumped about that.

We turned the worm.

I feel like we've always got a million balls that we're juggling, but what's really pushing the market into the numbers that we're seeing right now?

Yeah.

So, so here we are.

Now we're making the statements about Brazil.

Brazil is a little bit different.

They do have some beef we can buy from them.

Honestly, we were getting that beef anyways.

If you look at our import record, we're on track 5.5 to 5.8 billion pounds we're gonna bring in this year.

Even these USDA reports are somewhat manipulated and skewed kind of a broken system when you've got utter competition in the feeder cattle market and none in the fat cattle market but man these auctions have really seemed to pick up the slack dan what do you got it's

been an epic yeah i think i looked it up yesterday we put oh shoot what was it nine dollars on yeah we went from 240 92 and a half last thursday $253.75 on June yesterday.

$13 on fat cattle in four trading days.

Feeder cattle, $18 on feeder cattle in four trading days.

So I don't know.

If that's not Epic, I don't know what Epic is.

The cash space was a ball of fire.
