So what problem were you trying to solve and what did building TeachTown teach you about the difference between a technology that looks impressive and a technology families and school will actually use?

Well, that's probably several hours, but I'll try to bring it in tight.

First, we started with co-founding a school with four other families for Reed in Marin.

And that school had no curriculum.

We were making it up as we went.

And out of that was kind of two general problems.

One was... that the rate of learning language for my son was way too...

Can you see patterns that most parents can see?

in the autism and we talked about it a little bit offline, but in the autism innovation ecosystem that a single company could not fix.

Well, let me just reference back to my journey.

So when we, we, When we were building TeachDown, at one point I was the CEO and it was very clear that my knowledge of selling to school district rounded to zero.

At one point I had in my head when we started, how hard could this be? I built a financial technology platform that had an exit.

I had a team of coders.

I didn't manage them directly and model builders, financial model builders.

And we sold to complex organizations called banks and investment banks and things like that.

So do you think AI can help us connect those data sets, identify meaningful biological subgroups What do you think AI can realistically change in that field?
