then.
33:44
And then I came back and got on a golf scholarship at what was then the University of South Wales, Newport, because the Rally Cup was coming to the Celtic Manor.
33:55
they had a load of money invested in them to create a golf school um run out of Killeen so I was lucky to get in there yeah and and essentially got a free master's out of playing golf at an all-right standard and that was a really good time I reflect on that it's like a really good period of my life where like I'm early 20s no responsibility and essentially getting that i was never good enough to take that step up from like the amateur game into the professional game so my goal at that point was like well let's prolong this like yeah for as long as i can and almost figure out what i do what i want to do for a career point of view as as doing that so yeah very fortunate a couple of things kind of fell into place it but i guess what that did give me thinking back and translating this to endurance and triathlon, like part of like genuinely good environments in which people were performing at a high level.

So, you know, when you go from secondary school in Halford West to then doing an undergrad at Loughborough University and living with the boy Jono, who at the time was on world-class program funding for triathlon, like it exposes you to like, you know like you know this is how people train if they want to be at that particular level so there's loads there around like taking the learnings from that period of my life and then eventually bringing that into the world of coaching

Let's

get it.
64:29
The coaching bit came from, I think, kind of two Two areas.
64:33
So one, I've always wanted to create something myself.
17:58
How much do you seek to have those member th- members understand what they're investing in, the potential risks they're taking in, and how do you seek to avert some of those risks if you see markets are toppy?
18:09
toppy?Yeah, well, the really important thing, uh, for members is, as I said, long-term investment.
18:16
So we're very well diversified.
18:18
So as you said, Ross, we invest in Australian shares, global shares, emerging markets.
18:23
Uh, we invest in the fixed interest market, so government bonds and, and credits.
18:27
Uh, and importantly, we invest in, um, you know, really attractive, uh, private assets, so, uh, infrastructure.
18:33
We're investing in things like, uh, solar.
19:37
I- does that add a, a pressure to you to make certain that these funds, these long-term funds, do genuinely perform with the pack, that they don't suddenly become significant under-performers?
41:07
They have lots of other places to go.
41:10
Yeah, I think Louisville is definitely a mecca of fighting because of Muhammad Ali, but it's not a mecca of fighting currently, but I think it's growing.
41:22
I think the culture is growing because, like you were talking about with Coach and yourself, and a lot of other coaches.
41:30
I can walk when I'm doing these interviews backstage at these fights.
41:35
All of these coaches, there's so much dedication to the guys and loyalty, and you get those teams sitting just in chairs hanging out with each other.
41:45
You know what I mean? It's such a fun atmosphere to be a part of, and now with doing them in the middle of 4th Street Live, it's got its chance.
41:57
to really continue to grow.
