So what did that mean for what they were potentially looking at here in terms of the threats?
26:01
Well, imagine, you know, Iran is just over the border, so, so he's in Ankara, which is within range of Iranian ballistic missiles, drones, right? And then as you said, there was a specific threat, the White House says, that involved shoulder-launched weapons.
26:15
And of course, an F-15 fighter jet that's much faster than Air Force One and much smaller was hit and brought down by a shoulder-launched missile.
26:23
And then on top of that, there has been a persistent threat from Iran against Trump now for years, dating back to the strike that took out General Soleimani, the Iranian general, in 2020, to the point where when he ran for president in 2024, the Secret Service increased his security protection because they believed there was an assassination plot from Iran targeting him.
26:45
So I think it's fair to say there was an acute threat.
26:48
Now, there are some contradictions because the president and the administration also talk about how the Iranian military has been devastated and decimated.
26:55
But yes, there was clearly a threat there.
30:19
Mm.
