What was it like growing up in St. Albert? It was great.

You know, it's a small enough city that there are so many of the communities in town, so many of the neighborhoods don't really have a reason for through traffic, so...

It was a great walking environment.

You know, as a kid, especially as a teenager, we were walking everywhere with our friends and we had so many great places to go.

We had the skate park and the water park and it's just everybody was within walking distance.

So it was the kind of town where you could look for the big pile of BMXs on the front lawn and you knew where your friends were.
