Why don't you just give us the overview? What, what is this bill? When is it in effect? And what are some of the kind of the high level key talking points?
9:38
The Senate bill was part and partial doubt to nine different statutes, and it encompasses changing the definition of dangerous weapon.
9:47
It has, uh, some trigger mechanism changes to it.
9:51
That's all part of the, the nine different statutes.
9:55
But really, what pertains to CPW is specifically two statutes.
10:00
And what it tasks CPW with is, one, creating the online application for this, two, creating a database that the information would go into and that these other stakeholders, the sheriff's department and the firearms instructors and the gun dealers, would access to determine if somebody was eligible.
10:23
And then it also tasked us with creating the curriculum for these firearm safety classes.

What are the other common questions that we're getting about what this isn't? You know, I know one of them that I hear a lot is, does this mean I have to retake hunter ed? But maybe you can kinda dive in a little bit more of some of those questions that we're getting about, you know, kinda what is not part of this bill and CPW's authority with it.
