So we took Scottish

single malt barrels from the Isle of Jura, shipped them to Bardstown, Kentucky, and then made a custom blend of bourbon and rye.
3:58
It's about 70% bourbon, 30% rye.
3:59
It was 10 to 12 years old.
4:03
And even though it's only 30% rye, it's a 95.5 and it really comes through well on the nose.
4:10
So you've got this blend of bourbon and rye put into those single malt barrels for 32 months.
4:15
So almost three years.

11:28
Remote Scottish whiskey, but making some incredible single malt.
11:32
So we formed a relationship there.

And this, honestly, all these projects, what I love about them is they're authentic.
11:36
They're true.
11:36
There's no money changes hands.
11:38
They're just genuine things.
11:40
I was fortunate to get to know the Mars team.
11:43
They came over, and they were looking for used bourbon barrels, right? Because a lot of their Japanese whiskey is aged in used bourbon barrels.
