So when does a will stop being good enough?
1:58
Yeah, well, that's a great question, and, and thanks for having me, Aurel.
2:01
Let me say, initially, your premise is likely correct, but I think you'd be surprised at the number of people, and particularly people with complicated assets and circumstances, that don't have a will.
2:14
But nevertheless, we can assume you're likely correct, right? Uh, most will have a will.
2:19
So even then, you know, that's exactly the right question.
2:22
When is that will out of date? When is it not good enough? And so, essentially, when your situation changes, either by way of major changes in the structure of your, your assets, you know, that will will need to be looked at, and it's, it's quite likely that it's no longer accurate, right? It no longer, uh, achieves what you want it to achieve.
2:42
And, you know, very, very big picture, it can help to break life into stages.

So Dan, can you start us off by maybe telling us what is this distinction between an executor and a power of attorney, and why is it so important to families?
