Breast MRI... has arguably in any journal article that you can find has nearly a 100% sensitivity to breast cancer.
11:14
100%.
11:15
Now it might have a published 70 to 80% specificity, which means from time to time you're going to do a biopsy and it's going to be negative, right? So with that in mind, you compare that to screening mammography, Screening mammography has about 85% specificity to breast cancer, or some, sorry, sensitivity to breast cancer, meaning it's going to miss 15% of the breast cancers.

But half of the women in the United States have dense breast tissue.
11:47
In women with dense breast tissue, mammography is going to miss 40% of the breast cancers.
