Tell us a little bit about the design, how many patients, and when were the beta blockers discontinued and what was the follow-up?
2:35
right so we decided on a probe design prospective randomized open leg blood with a blinded endpoint random endpoint evaluation our endpoints were basically taken out of the national registries but also all endpoints were independently adjudicated by a two independent cardiologists by a committee And we enrolled in total together in Norway and in Denmark, together we enrolled over 5,500 patients.
3:12
The design was such that we should give the beta blocker no later than 14 days after the index event.
3:22
But in reality, the randomization occurred already at date two in median time.
3:29
And our total follow-up time was 3.5 years.
3:34
We had the advantage that we could blindedly monitor the event rate so that we were sure that the power of the study would be sufficient.
3:51
to show an outcome.

So, you know, in 2025 and beyond, do we give beta blockers post-MI? What's your feeling?
