How do you see the state of the women's game in Group 9?
4:06
Well, look, it's come leaps and bounds over the last handful of seasons.
4:09
I was fortunate enough to coach the Group 9 side and the Riverina Bulls side this year with a lot of those females that are playing for Junee and in that the brothers side.
4:19
And they're a great bunch of girls and the game's developing really well.
4:23
The pathways are starting to sort of... produced a lot more players in the participation ranks.
4:29
So from the 14s through to 18s now, there's a lot more girls playing tackle, which is great.
4:35
And yeah, the group nine, especially, you know, my wife's been heavily involved in the female tackle space and promoting that.

What were the lessons you took out of that loss to the Tigers?

But it's almost the complete opposite this year where the run of form has been great and bringing them in just adds that little bit on top.
2:08
Yeah, look, both are ultimate professionals.
2:11
Stu played sevens rugby for the Wallabies and Chase has been playing footy over in France for a few years now too.
2:19
So I guess when you have those guys with the experience they've got, they've steadied the ship a little bit and both have got pretty calm collected heads and both been in big game moments and teams and that just sort of filters back down to the rest of the guys.
2:31
But I guess for us, we've had very... small amount of injuries.
2:38
We've had the same side in the week in, week out, which that consistency builds, you know, a lot of combinations and, you know, blokes know what they're doing with each other when we're playing footy.
2:49
So that's, yeah, that's always a huge benefit for us.

What's been the focus of training this week?
