Mm-hmm
40:01
... we said, if there's not a benefit that happens from doing twice, we just kept it at once.
40:07
The next thing that we found is that we had patients, what we had mentioned a- again a bit ago, is that we had some of them come up to the end of that first cycle, and they wanted to kinda go what we had originally talked about of having some form of maintenance set up, versus the other patients that said, "You know, this is...
40:22
I'm being honest, this is the first time that I've ever had an improvement in my vision, ever since being diagnosed with macular degeneration." And these were some changes that actually happened functionally, not necessarily structure, so the reason hadn't changed.
40:34
But pa- patients noticed some functional improvements, such as colors and vision in low light, and contrast sensitivity in low-light situations, that they said, "This is the first time that I've seen a benefit, and if it's all the same, I'd like to continue just with my foot on the gas." And what was interesting in some of these cases is that patients that just continued nonstop, they did improve for a period of time, but a, but some of them ended up actually hitting kind of a plateau where there really wasn't much of an improvement that they noticed.
41:04
The structures that had been kinda changing, like, slightly, they just kind of ended up kind of, again, plateauing and stale, you know, kinda having like a stalemate.
41:12
But when we compared it to the patients that actually took the rest, those patients actually never plateaued, and in some case, they actually continued to progress over time.

Sure.
19:49
For sure.
19:50
Well, let, let's get into practical stuff.
19:51
So Dalton, what is-- how often, uh, you mentioned you start seeing results in, you know, about three months.
19:58
Both of you kind of mentioned that.
20:00
So what is the protocol, Dalton, for you in the first three months that you're, that you're following? And you said you adapted some of the, some of the, some of the studies, uh, and that you've experimented with the protocol.
20:15
So what have you come up with, and what does that look like? Yeah, definitely.
20:19
And I, I think this has been something that's been a progression that we noticed whenever we-- 'cause when we, when we started after this, after the clinical trials had been published, there really wasn't like an instruction manual on how to kind of offer this to patients.

So te- tell me about, uh, tell me about this patient.
