Target only the eight compromised relay nodes, using local administrative scripts to forcefully re-inject the security agents on bare metal without touching the ICCD build pipeline?
12:43
A couple of considerations.
12:44
So my hard answer, right, for the purpose is B, right? Running parallel, because there's two things that have to happen.
12:52
And what I would add is, I would let everybody on the operational edge know know that this data is unreliable, right? Since they can't be making decisions.
13:07
But you want to leave the pipeline and all of the affected things as they are and sandbox them.
13:15
So you don't want any of that data to go out any further than it needs to, but you want to sandbox everything so that you can evaluate it, right? Yep.
13:28
So you wanna lock that pipeline down and not allow it to go anywhere, but you also don't wanna alert the bad guy that you're in there and you're onto him.

13 MINS LATER

26:30
right?
2:20
specialist
2:22
dealing with, you know, building large, large communication networks for global, for global communications for ships and short ships.
2:30
And 1995, 96 timeframe, they took data processing and radio men and jammed them together and made information technicians.
2:41
So with that, my next duty station, I was jammed into a computer field.
2:46
I had to, it was like running with scissors.
2:48
I had to learn.
2:49
So from there, it just kind of spiraled into security because I rapidly realized, right, this is a team sport, right? And it took...
6:21
And I guess my thing here, though, the issues are the same, right? It's the question of, you know, is it cybersecurity or is it compliance? Am I doing checkbox or not? And I guess that leads me to the question, where do you find, where do you see a good alignment of compliance and security together? Like what's effective? Yeah.

Any advice for those guys and girls?
3:25
Sure.
3:25
So I think that regardless of where you serve, no matter what country you serve, when you're in the military, they take care of you.
3:32
They make sure you make your doctor's appointments.
3:34
They make sure you take care of your teeth and you're doing all your physicals and you're doing physical exercise all the time, right? There's a program or regimen to structure your life around, right? And then when you move from that, then all of that stuff becomes yours.
3:50
So the same thing is for your career.
3:52
Nobody's as invested in your career as you are, right? So you have to plan for that transition.

10:16
What do you think enabled you to get those promotions and get that progression where others didn't?
13:31
So, so tell me, uh, what are you working on nowadays?
13:34
So, uh, at RigScale, we're doing the transition to AI security.
13:39
So we're really, um, operationalizing our security operations center, um, and, and spending a lot of time with the hardening and the hows and whys around AI, which is why I love the RSA's theme this year, uh, and coming here and being able to talk to all the innovators and speak to all the other players in the space, uh, and kind of build the roadmap for the future, uh, a-a-as we get around, you know, how...
14:05
It, it's one thing to keep lines of business open, but it's another thing to open up new lines of business.
14:10
And if you're not leaning hard into AI, you're way behind.
14:13
So that's what I... that's what we've been working on at RigScale.
14:55
Tell me a little bit about that.
14:57
Yeah.
