You know, there's a lot of policies that came through MNC, Municipal and County Committee that I was on, that were basically taking away local control, which, again, Croydon, when I look at it, they should have the ability to make their own decisions, whether it's zoning or whatever for housing, because we're seeing all these things being pushed that we can now all of a sudden you don't have to you can do whatever you want from putting different types of housing in and that's going to be something that the a small community like croydon is not going to be looking for because it's going to affect their lives the way they are i think it's really important that we we continue to protect the small communities to allow them to I don't want to use the term fend for themselves.
Dale GirardGUEST
Because if they don't want this huge conglomerate building being built that's going to affect their schools because you're going to have an extra 500 kids that are going to be in your school district, that's going to be a huge cost to them.
Dale GirardGUEST
that community but the way it was run through housing committee this year that there's so much that they're just trying to jam down everybody's throat that I just felt felt as though there was a lot of municipal and county bills that came through that I just had a tough time trying to support so did a lot of them pass like you want to they were a lot of them passed through the house but then would fail over in the Senate which I That was one of the things that I would always like to monitor to see how things went over in the Senate.
Dale GirardGUEST
And again, I have a good relationship with both the ranking member in our committee and the chair of our committee.
Dale GirardGUEST
And the chair of our committee comes from a small community down in the southeast corner of the state.
