This story has everything I love, just twists and turns and unexpected dark corners that you never see coming, people pretending to be who they're not, and just questions that are left completely unanswered.

This is the second of two episodes on the Galapagos Affair, a chain of disappearances and death on the island of Floreana in the 1930s.

So last time, Carter introduced us to the settlers.

In 1929, a doctor named Friedrich Ritter and his partner, Dore Strauch, left Germany to start over on an empty island.

So it's already a place, uh, y- you know, in your experience with strange and unexplained, like, w- yeah, what is your take on places being cursed or not cursed, or what that could be?
