So how, how, how would you reflect on last season, but particularly the end of it?

Yeah, I think, um, ultimately it's, it's disappointment, isn't it? Like, we all know we, we don't go into a Premiership season to come second, do we? But I think there's also immense pride with the boys.

I think everyone wrote us off, and teams probably didn't respect us.

So going into this season now, we, we've probably earned that bit of respect, but, uh, with that comes totally different challenges.

So as ever, there's been a bit of s- a few squads in and out, but you're, you feel you're in a good place?

Yeah, and I think, like, the core group that's been there through the tough times as well has, has stayed, so I, I think that's really important.

Obviously, you're not gonna get many better 12s in the world than Len, so, um, he's obviously gonna be a miss.

But then we've got, uh, Dallas McLeod coming in, so it's sort of, um, exciting to see how, how we go as a group.

What was the main message, Daf?

Yeah, the, the...

First of all, like, the atmosphere was very, very calm, and I think that's sort of been built throughout the season.

Like Andrew Slade talks about a lot, just having belief within ourselves, and that was certainly there.

So yeah, it was quite calm messages.

We just said if we keep the ball, we could cause them problems, and we needed to score early to put them under a bit of pressure.

We knew if we started coming back, the pressure just goes back on them.

Has that always come naturally to you? Have you always kind of felt like a natural leader?
