I think, um, to your point, Chris, I think, um, the three main elements that we now, uh, face is obviously how do you handle, um, a price increase, uh, for the fans.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
Um, I think this was pretty straightforward because what we didn't want to do is to have a, a price increase without any justifications.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
I think one of the big problems that fans were, um, telling us, uh, the, the season before, uh, when it was not Ligue 1+ is that, like, with this kind of price, I cannot, like, buy the Ligue 1 subscription because I need to pay a first subscription, then I need to pay a second one if my club is playing on BeIn Sports.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
So what we decided to do is to have, like, a price increase, uh, but that's linked to, um, a justification, meaning, like, you have all nine games on the same platform.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
And im- it might seems, okay, it's just, uh, one out of the nine, but obviously BeIn Sports had some good games in terms of the picks.

So just over the course of the last year, what have you guys learned or what has changed for you as a business in terms of now sort of having that direct relationship with the fans? You know, you sort of talked about internally you guys in- had to go through this shift of going B to B to B to C, but just what have you learned from the fans in this, in this moment of transition for you guys?

But talk us through some of the timelines from when you went, actually, it's green light, we're going for this, to then launching and what that journey was like.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
I think what's kind of interesting about the League One Plus story is that I think there were kind of two timelines that were merged together.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
So the first big step was the domestic tender that was launched prior to the 24-25 season.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
It was like big decisions to be made because, as you can imagine, the stakes were very high.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
We were ending the partnership that we had with Prime Video and Be In Sports.

Cyprien CastanedoGUEST
And after everything that went with MediaPro and Canal+, and so on, it was like one of the key moments for LFP Media.
