And so what did-- Is financial literacy enough, or do we need to think more broadly about financial health and financial well-being?
19:54
Well, I think it's, I think it's a combination of the two.
19:57
I think that, um, at GECU we focused a lot on financial literacy.
20:03
We actually have a group of people that do nothing but financial literacy and are do-doing outreach to the community, and it's, it's that, but, um, it's also some of the things I'd mentioned before, like the fighting hunger, you know, fighting, um, you know, fighting other issues that people were dealing with, like medical problems.
20:24
So I think the two worked hand-in-hand, quite honestly, because if we could make your life better and you had transportation to get to your job, or you had whatever you needed in the healthcare community to become well, then there was a better chance that you were gonna be interested in financial education.
20:46
So we made it available to people all throughout, uh, not just El Paso, but way beyond El Paso, and that really proved to be a way where people could rise up to a better financial well-being.

So what responsibility do today's CEO and senior executives have to identify those young people and open the doors for them, become mentors for them?
37:34
Well, I, I think we all have a responsibility to build people into the best that they can be.
