This is Christine Sommer-Simmons, inductee into the Sturgis Hall of Fame and one of the many women who followed in Gloria's tyre tracks.

Let me tell you what.

She was in her 80s.

We did a 650-mile day out here in Wyoming to Cody to some motor maze convention.

She rides the back, but she's pushing.

I'm like, are we going, you know, we're doing like 80, okay? You know? And we'd stop for guests.

I'd be like wanting to sit down at the table and have water, and I'd say, do you want a drink? No, let's go.

And the draw of Sturgis keeps bringing them back.
