Uh, I would say just the mind share of having a dozen guys in camp.

We learned unfamiliar ground really quick and got on deer.

We went from coming here and scouting areas that look cool on, on, uh, onX, to people going to multiple different types of habitat, driving around at night, locating herds of deer, and just as a group all getting on deer.

And then we ended up ...

I mean, we're probably at a what? We, we had a 50% success rate, so that's pretty good for archery hunting on public land in two days.

He's kind of a personal friend now.

Yeah, man, that's awesome.

And Tony's bootcamp is very valuable.

I haven't personally been through it.

I have some friends that have been through it that claim it's probably the best, you know, five, $800 or whatever it costs to go through that bootcamp that they've ever invested in hunting.

I remember him and Ed Smith, man, this probably dates back to 2008, 2009.

We had him out for a habitat day as the, as our, as our keynote speaker out on a property in Lenawee County.

I was going to check out, you know, I've been sharing that buck that I'm getting a four year old at my farm.

And what's weird is I don't remember him last year, but I know him as a two year old.

I know the deer as a two year old.

I watched him that night that I shot this deer right here.

He came out earlier in the evening and I watched him.

So I, I, listen, I had to try to make a decision on where to go and, you know, where do I hang my license? And, you know, and there's some really great reputable, uh, brokers out there and, and, uh, there's just, it's, it looks like a ton of fun out there.

Everyone seems like they're, they're having fun helping landowners, but I made a decision and I'm going with a, with, with a company there.

They kind of, they're part out of Missouri, but they're in, we're in Michigan, they're in Michigan now.

Um, and they have another hungry eight, uh, you know, land specialist that I'll be working alongside and he is just so good.

I've, I've, I've had the pleasure over the last few weeks to kind of shadow him a little bit and, um, just really takes care of people and, uh, and the When he's in front of a client, he just makes sure he does the right thing.

My biggest issue with the tubes right now is-I, uh, like last year during an observation set, I watched a bachelor group of bucks come in, and they're all standing on their hind legs and picking off the, the chestnut leaves and everything like that.

This will be probably my last year in the tubes, and then I'm just gonna buy, you know, a bunch of rolls of wire fencing and then get them out there and get them out of the tubes.

But that'll give them another year of, of trunk growth and stability so that they won't, you know, tip over or uproot in any of these big winds that we get over here.
