Can you tell us anything about those allegations?

The middleman in the murder, someone who's a state witness, what he has said is that he was asked by Mr. Fenech to meet Mr. Fenech at, uh, a restaurant called Blue Elephant, which is in the hotel which Fenech's family operates, and that's where he asked this man to organize the crime.

And the asking price apparently was 150,000 euros, and that was to be divided between three men who are now convicted of being the hitmen in Daphne's murder.

Why, why was your sister so willing to take the risks that she did in order to report on corruption among the most wealthy and powerful in Malta?

She would say something, and she'd say, "You have to document what's happening." I mean, she did not set out to say, "Okay, I know what I'll do.

I'll go and investigate corruption." It is something that came her way because of the work she was already doing.

I mean, her beat was local politics, and by following local politics, you know, who's in power, who's not, who's getting which ministry, who's, who's got connections to whom, that kind of thing, she found she was on the trail of massive corruption.

And, you know, that led her into discovering massive crime.

And my partner said to me, "What have we done?" I said, "Don't worry, I'll fix it.

I'll fix it.

It's, it's okay, I'll fix it." So I, I went and bought some bonding and slapped it in, and that was kind of like the real beginning.

I just kept saying, "I wanna do this."
